Web27 Jun 2008 · Since the rod cap could potentially be in a different position with the new bolts. I assume you are trying to do this without taking the engine out of the car. Their torque specs do however depend on the fastener length, the fastener type (8740, 2000, L19 etc...), and ARP lube. The bolt should say what type on the head.
