The good thing about this setup is, it saved me from having to remove all the Mach 460 Amps, and the speakers, and having to rewire the entire car.

Witryna15 sty 2011 · Ok, i have a 2001 V6 convertible with a Mach 460 sound system, all stock except for a Sony head unit. My front two door speakers do not work at all, one front tweeter works, and the rear speakers work (but do not play any bass at all). Witryna26 lis 2024 · I ripped out the mach 460 amps because of the stupid ohm thing and ran all new speaker wire, power wire, speakers, amps, a sub, and sound deadened everything while I was in there. The entire car (doors, trunk, under rear seats, under main seats) all got deadened. The sound is now harmonic and 10x better. WitrynaHere's the deal -- your sound system is kind of unique to the Mustang of that generation -- the Mach 460 is a 3 ohm system. That means its amps and speakers are 3 ohm, and it means that aftermarket solutions are a bit troublesome unless you are swapping amps+speakers.
