WebJul 18, 2012 · As I understand it the Hill Assist is nothing more than the emergency brake which will disengage automatically when you hit the accelerator. I have used mine a couple of times and FWIW I found it much simpler to just use my left foot on the brake and right foot on the accelerator rather than fumbling for the button... G GasGuzz Registered
