Web22 de nov. de 2024 · Hello. I recently purchased a pair of Heathkit ASX-1383 speakers on a local on-line auction for $22.50. The woofer surrounds were completely rotten, so I ordered a new refoaming kit. But, in case they still don’t work properly, I researched and found a 10” woofer on Parts Express that you can drop into your speakers. Part number is: 292-410. WebAt least fairly expensive to me. It's not like they were $5,000 speakers or anything. $75 is a top price for a speaker like this, but then Heathkit sourced the drivers for these from C.T.S. and they are good quality. If you can see the values on the crossover capacitors you should be able to recap them.
