Web11 de jul. de 2015 · You were right! I am thinking that I can use a small 5 gallon aquarium to raise the shrimp. I just need to get the water up to salinity and pH specs. That means I will use more salt and buffers, but that's no big deal. That way I can still raise a small number for shrimp (1 tsp of eggs) but just use lots more water than the recommended 1 quart.
Web10 de jul. de 2009 · My 15gal and my 20 gal both use 50watt heaters. 200watt would be way too much, IMO 100watt is still a lot. If the heater malfunctions it will just cook your fish faster. I had a 300watt in my 55gal, once it malfunctioned I replaced it with a 200watt.
