WebDec 18, 2024 · You only need the external tool to generate a black and white mask of the areas between the two datasets. That mask can be 8 bit if needed, it should have plenty of detail. This is simply because pixinsight doesn't have a good way to paint masks. You could try and generate one by using masked range, but it's probably not going to be fun.
